Håfa Adai, Geckos!
Welcome to another school year! This year, we have a few new faces to our administrative team; and all of us are ready to work with and for you.
As the oldest high school on the island, GWHS is an institution rich with history and tradition. For many of you, your parents and grandparents may have hailed the purple and gold that now belongs to you. Out of our campus, there have been many lessons learned, countless friendships made, and numerous leaders born. Now, you will write your own histories as Geckos at GWHS.
There's much to be done in a year, and I'm confident that GW has the grit it takes to get the work done! We will work diligently to ensure that teaching and learning is happening in every classroom; that you have a plethora of opportunities for extracurricular activities; that intentional supports are given to our faculty, staff, and students; and that you are all prepared for life beyond graduation.
I know that you all will make GW proud. But even more - that YOU will be proud to be a part of George Washington High School.
Mr. Dexter Fullo,
