ATTENDANCE
Attendance is MANDATORY for students of compulsory age (5 - 17 years of age)
Upon return from an absence, students must present excuse notes to each teacher in whose class was missed (example below). Teachers will then sign to acknowledge the absence and will make adjustments accordingly onto PowerSchool.
Those students who do not submit acceptable excuse notes (see note on Attendance below) will incur an unexcused absence. Students who are habitually absent without justifiable or acceptable reason will be referred accordingly and in compliance with GDOE policy and Guam law.
